🌟 Welcome to the Holiday Season! Weekly Tasks to Simplify Your Holidays!

Hi Reader,

Happy November! 🍂 As we dive into the first full week of this beautiful month, I’m excited to officially kick off the holiday season with you! Over the next 8 weeks, we’ll have a special theme each week, along with simple tasks to help you prepare for the celebrations ahead. Our goal? To enjoy the holidays without the stress and overwhelm!

Week 1: Preparation & Mindset

With the hustle and bustle of the holidays approaching, it’s essential to start with a clear mind and a well-organized space. This week, let’s focus on Preparation & Mindset. It’s the perfect time to take down those Halloween decorations and make room for the joyful moments to come! Here are a few tasks to help you get started:

Week 1 Tasks:

  1. Take Down Halloween Decorations: Start by clearing out the spooky decor. This small step can help you feel more organized and ready for the festive season ahead! 🎃➡️🎄
  2. Declutter Unused Items: As you pack away Halloween, take a moment to consider what items you didn’t use this year. If something didn’t bring you joy or serve a purpose, it might be time to let it go! This not only creates space but also helps lighten your load emotionally. 🗑️
  3. Set Aside Intentional Family Time: Schedule 30 minutes this week to reflect with your family. Gather around the table or cozy up on the couch and talk about what traditions mean the most to you. What do you enjoy most about the holidays? What new traditions would you like to start? This open dialogue can strengthen your family bond and create lasting memories! ❤️
  4. Simplify Your Traditions: Think about ways to simplify your holiday plans. If you have a tradition that feels overwhelming, consider delegating tasks to other family members. You might even suggest adopting a family in need instead of exchanging gifts this year. It’s a wonderful way to give back and teach your children the true spirit of the season. 🎁🤝
  5. Create Lasting Memories: Share your favorite holiday traditions with your family. Whether it’s driving around to see the lights, decorating cookies together, attending a Christmas Eve service, or creating a scavenger hunt for kids to "find" their big gifts Christmas Day, these moments create memories that last a lifetime! 🌟

January overload doing it all and 7 mistakes

Dear Reader, Can you believe we're in the final week of January? I saw something this week that read, "It's the 1000th day of January!" Gosh, that is so true. After the hustle of holiday break in December, January can feel like a brick wall that you can't seem to climb! Work is in full swing now that everyone's back - endless "kick-off" meetings, planning sessions, and growing to-do lists. As a former corporate professional myself, I intimately understand the daily grind - racing through...

Week 3 of Organized Year

Dear Reader, Here we are in week 3 of January - how is 2025 treating you so far? If you're like many of my clients, you started the year with big plans and fresh motivation. But real life has a way of throwing curveballs, doesn't it? I want to be real with you - my January hasn't gone exactly as planned. Between weather cancellations and a bout of family illness, some of my carefully laid plans got derailed. But here's the thing - that's life. Instead of giving up or feeling guilty, I've...

Week 2 Organized Year

Dear Reader, My heart has been heavy watching the devastating wildfires in California. Seeing families forced to evacuate with just minutes to grab what matters most puts everything into sharp perspective. It reminds me of conversations I've had with many of my clients that are successful, busy moms who want nothing more than to spend quality time with family and friends, to have impromptu coffee dates without feeling embarrassed about the state of your home, to enjoy movie nights without...
